Valentine’s Day Delivery & Safety Guidelines

Posted Date: 02/05/26 (09:17 AM)

Dear Families,

As we settle back into our routines, we are looking forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day next week. To ensure our focus remains on learning and to keep our end-of-week logistics running smoothly, please note the following guidelines for any planned Valentine’s Day deliveries:

🕒 Delivery Deadline: Thursday, Feb. 12

Because Friday, Feb. 13, is a scheduled half-day for teacher collaboration, all school deliveries must be received by 1 p.m. on Thursday. * Note: Deliveries will not be accepted on Friday, Feb. 13, as our offices will be focused on the early dismissal transition.
  • You can find early dismissal times by building [here].

🚌 Bus Safety & Balloons

We want to make sure all potential valentines make it home safely. However, our Transportation Department has the following safety requirement:
  • Balloons are not permitted on school buses, as they can obstruct the driver’s line of sight, creating a safety hazard.
  • If a bus rider receives balloons at school, a caregiver must make the arrangements necessary to pick the student (and their gifts) up in a personal vehicle.

❤️ Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our schools safe and our focus on our students’ success.
