Created in 1981 to honor Poplar Bluff's outstanding sports figures, the Poplar Bluff
Sports Hall of Fame is a part of the Poplar Bluff Historical Museum in the Old Mark
Twain School building. Plaques of inductees along with pictures and sports related items
of the past comprise the exhibit. Also on display are uniforms worn by Poplar Bluff sports
figures in high school, college and professional sports.
